Alumni Association

The Georgia Region is delighted to announce the chartering of the Georgia Regional Alumni Association.

The mission of the alumni association is to support the people, programs, and priorities of the Phi Theta Kappa Society. Alumni have valuable contributions to make to Phi Theta Kappa. Through alumni support, the integrity of the Society’s programs and service will be protected and new programs and services can be developed and offered in the future.

Any alumnus who was an active member of the Society, in good standing, is eligible to become a charter member of the alumni association. As such, we would like to invite you to join us in this endeavor, either as a potential alumni officer, as a chapter mentor, or as a member. Your contribution to the region would be incredibly valuable in guiding new members in realizing their full potential as Phi Theta Kappans.

The alumni association needs 15 members to charter, five of whom must have graduated at least five years prior. While all members of Phi Theta Kappa are lifetime members, alumni chapters receive no funding from campus activities funds, colleges, or student membership joining fees, and because of this they are funded by the members themselves. However, the Georgia Regional Alumni Association’s $200 charter fee has been fully funded by an anonymous donor. As a result, we are fortunate in that all membership fees can be used towards initiatives voted on by our alumni officers and members.

Please join us in creating a wonderful new resource for the Region, and sharing in Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Fellowship.
